The Waitrose Kitchen Table Panel Website (http://www.waitrosekitchentable.co.uk) is referred to as “The Website” and “The Panel”. “You” or “Your” means any person who is registered with, and participates in, The Panel (a “Participant”). John Lewis, Waitrose and Maru/eDR together are referred to herein as “We”, “Us” “Their” or “Our”. These Terms & Conditions, in their entirety are referred to as “Terms & Conditions” and “Terms”. “Online studies” refers to any activity which may be undertaken as part of The Panel, examples include participating in questionnaires, polling and focus groups.
John Lewis Partnership of 171 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5NN (“John Lewis”) has retained Maru/eDR plc of The HUB, Berrywood Business Village, Tollbar Way, Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 2UN ("Maru/eDR") to manage the Waitrose Kitchen Table Panel (“Panel”).
By agreeing to join The Panel You agree to be bound by these Terms so please read them carefully. We reserve the right to amend the Terms at any time by posting changes online. As a Participant it is Your responsibility to review the Terms regularly to ensure that You are aware of any changes made and that You agree to them. Your continued participation in the Panel after changes are posted will constitute an affirmative acknowledgement of any modification and your continued agreement to be bound by the modified Terms.
To participate in the Panel, you must:
- Be a resident in the UK
- Be aged 18 years or above
- Be a decision maker in the purchase of food and groceries for your household
- Not be an employee of John Lewis, Maru/eDR or any associated company
- Not work in advertising, marketing or market research
- Register as a member of the Panel and provide true and accurate information on your profile and keep that information updated
- Provide true and accurate information in response to the questionnaires you receive. If you provide information that is untrue or inaccurate, or We have grounds to suspect that such information is untrue or inaccurate, We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your current access to the Panel
As a Participant You will receive invitations to participate in online studies. You will be invited to participate in studies and provide your responses online.
Your participation in all studies is voluntary and You may cease to be a Participant at any time. You can unsubscribe from the Panel by visiting the Website or by using the link in email invitations.
To thank you for participating in the Panel, on completion in full of an online questionairre, each Participant will gain an entry into a monthly prize draw (see Prize Draw Terms and Conditions).
Access to The Website is permitted on a temporary basis and We reserve the right to withdraw, suspend or amend any aspect or feature of The Website without notice.
By submitting Your contribution to The Website or in any other form, You warrant that Your contribution:
- Does not contain any derogatory, offensive, indecent, inappropriate or defamatory material
- Does not infringe any third party intellectual property rights or rights of privacy
- Does not contain any computer virus, or other form of malicious computer code which would disable, disrupt , harm or impede The Website or any software, hardware or data owned or operated by us
- Complies with all applicable laws and regulations including, without limitation, data protection and privacy laws
If You breach any of the warranties above We have the right to remove You from The Panel.
Our prize draws are run by John Lewis Partnership of 171 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5NN (“John Lewis”) and administered by Maru/eDR plc of The HUB, Berrywood Business Village, Tollbar Way, Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 2UN ("Maru/eDR").
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
Prize draws are open to Participants. Employees of John Lewis, Maru/eDR, any associated company, their agents, immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible for entry into any prize draw.
Prize draw winners will be contacted by email, by the Waitrose Kitchen Table Panel team within 14 days of the prize draw taking place. We may ask you to provide a postal address so that We can send the prize to You. It is the responsibility of each prize draw participant to ensure that that they are able to accept prizes as set out and in accordance with these Terms. In the event they are unable to do so We reserve the right to re-award the prize to another eligible Participant.
The name and UK region of residence of the prize draw winners may be displayed on The Panel homepage and may be obtained by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to “Waitrose Kitchen table Panel Prize Draw, Maru/eDR, The HUB, Berrywood Business Village, Tollbar Way, Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 2UN " within 30 days of the relevant prize draw closing date.
All prizes are non-transferable and there is no alternative (cash or otherwise) for any prize in whole or part save that We reserve the right to provide a prize of equal or greater value if a named prize is unavailable for any reason.
Entry into a prize draw constitutes each Participant’s acceptance of these Terms and the study specific prize draw terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to amend these prize draw Terms and any such amendments shall be published on The Panel website.
We reserve the right, to exclude an entry to any prize draw for failure to comply with any of these Terms.
Entry to the Prize Draw is free; You do not have to participate in the study to be entered into the monthly prize draw to win a £150 John Lewis / Waitrose voucher. Please click here to enter the free prize draw only. You must check the opt in to be added to the prize draw. Each separate questionairre that is completed counts as one entry into the prize draw. One entry per questionairre will be recorded, multiple submissions of the same questionairre will not result in additional entries into the prize draw.
There is a maximum of one prize per Participant per month. However Participants may potentially win a prize on successive months.
Each monthly prize draw covers a period of one calendar month, starting from the 1st of each month and finishing on the last day of the month. All feedback collected within that time period will be eligible for the months prize draw.
The prize draw will take place 7 days after the end of each monthly prize draw period, on the 7th day of the following month. If this date falls on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday) or is affected by a bank holiday or other unforeseen event the date will move back to the closest available working date. The winner will be picked at random in an electronic prize draw.
